Pamela Blaco authored the book out of her sincere desire to help people build better, stronger relationships with their dogs. She has been working with animals since the age of 14 and has raised puppies for Canine Companions for Independence, an organization that provides service dogs to disabled individuals. Pamela, is now training a new service dog to work with autistic children and their parents throughout the State of Florida. Service dogs allow autistic children to increase their participation and functional levels in everyday activities by providing a greater connection to their external environment, and a stronger ability to form social relationships and behavioral skills. "Puppy Love" is based the theory that every dog has a purpose when trained right.
