W. Timothy Wright has been playing music professionally since he was nineteen years old with the Wright Brothers Band out of Indianapolis, Indiana. In 2007, he self-published "Not the Destination,' a story of the band's career, the ups and downs of the "Nashville Hit Machine" and how chasing a dream can sometimes bring a nightmare into one's life. Keeping a marriage together while staying on the road, pursuing the goal of hit records and fame is not an easy task, as Tim and his wife, Dianne's story attests. "The Valley Boys" is a story that is close to Timothy's heart since he was in first grade in French Lick, Indiana, where this unique story takes place. Wright states, "I guess I'm just a very nostalgic person, thinking back to a simpler time in America, and wanting to "visit" this place of my youth one more time.So, writing this story of the 1958 Springs Valley Black Hawks was my "time machine,." allowing me to "tag along" with this team of destiny during this season."
