Paul is an amateur photographer and occasional bird watcher. When this house wren sat on the back of a chair on his deck and started singing -- even when he was ten feet away -- it was clearly a call to action. He presented some of the pictures and an early version of the text to the children's story hour and in the kindergarten class (which sent the letter on the back cover), he felt he needed to make it more available.
