Phillip Flockhart's first Substance Misuse placement was in 1975 and he has worked with the issues of Recovery ever since. He has been in personal Recovery for many years and holds an NCFE First Certificate in Counselling and classes his expertise in the Rogerian (person centred) school. He has much experience in MI (Motivational Interviewing) techniques gained in many years working with Mental Health and Addiction Issues, Serving on Addiction Advisory Groups at County level (UK). As an Artist he has worked as an Art Facilitator in Mental Health Provision at local Government level in the UK and has seen the remarkable healing that artistic expression offers- and so strongly believes in the spiritual process of Art.
