About
Chris Strange
Chris Strange has a background in music and creative arts, and as a lyricist, he has, in essence, been writing four-minute stories for many years. For him, the move to manuscripts was merely the construction of a much bigger song. Chris likes to mix styles, and writes in both first and third person, crafting stories with comedic quirkiness akin to authors such as Nick Hornby, Chuck Palahniuk, Helen Fielding, Marian Keyes and John Kennedy Toole. He also admires work with a much darker and graphic tone provided by authors Stephen King, Robin Cook, Michael Crichton and Anthony Burgess. The Limits of Respectability was Chris' first self-published novel (released 2017), with Hijacking Heaven following as his second published work (released April 2018). Handmade Heart, a sequel to The Limits, published in October 2019 with The Gryphon Virus in December 2019. Chris is currently working on several projects set for future release; Patriot Babylon, Dirt Nap, Johnny Trigger and Centre of the Universe.
