In most science fiction based on Humanities first deep space explorers, we get flowery imagery of the species gloriously united. I believe this couldn't be farther from the nature of the Human Race, that's why The Wandering Fleet's main characters are not hopeful idealists of a colonizing civilization, but exiles from what appears to be a hopeless planet. This series explores a new take on the oldest tale of the Information Age in what I hope will strike a fresh chorde for the readers.
