My name is Matthew Krumrie, and I've been writing poems for the past 8 years. It all started when I was 13 and wanted to write poems about girls I like or thought were cute. Over the years, I never really broke this pattern of only writing about girls, but I got better at it. It wasn't until these past 3 years that I expanded my themes, and delved into the depths of my mind. I've experienced many hardships these past couple years, and my poetry has been a great outlet for me to let these feelings out. Maturing me not only emotionally and as a person, but also as a writer.
