R. Mike Faris's professional and personal backgrounds are broad and unorthodox. Professional spans 50+ years of leadership from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies. Career industries include regulated investor-owned utilities, technology, health insurance, and hospital operations. My personal includes being born in California, raised in West Germany during the Cold War, and spending a lot of my adult life in Colorado. I have traveled throughout the USA, Central and South America, Canada, Europe, Scandinavia, England, Greece, and Turkey. My greatest passions are freedom, people, and writing. I try to live by the principles of integrity, transparency, and honesty. I retired some time back and have enjoyed writing particularly the research end. My books tend to have a lot of information and are often eye-opening. My greatest honor was an invitation to see and write about the people of Ukraine.
