Rev. Dr. Ricky J. Phillips, PhD is a Rapper turned Minister from Detroit. He is the Senior Pastor/Founder of Spiritual United Ministries International. He also founded several side projects that he is very proud of. Operation: SafeHome is the biggest one. He has been writing since 1998 and has had a rather semi-sucessful run in the music industry as a DJ in the club/hip-hop scene in Detroit under the name, "DJ 313". His First Book, "Life of a Gangster", is basically his life story of his experiences in the music industry and the gangster lifestyle. His Second Book, "Words Of Love" is a collection of poetry that he has written since 1998. His Third book, "Road to Redemption" is a Testimony to his path to redemption and salvation from gangs and how he changed his life and became a Pastor. He is currently working on his fourth book, "Life on the Road: Journey of a Traveling Salesman" which is the personal account of his experiences in several magazine crews.
