Rob Barton is an author and musician living with two of his adult children and a little dog named Cookie in Whitman Massachusetts. Rob is also a multiple award winning martial artist who has spent many years researching numerous European martial traditions. Rob still teaches music and theatre and plays as a popular local musician and can be found walking with his dog on the Boulevard by Hobart Pond every day. As an author of fiction Rob writes fantasy and historical short stories and novels. As an author of activist non-fiction Rob has written in the area of LGBT issues and human rights for many years. As an academic author Rob has written articles and essays in the area of religious studies, alternative religions and martial arts instruction for more than two decades.
