Robert McNair grew up in Gretna. Since leaving the south of Scotland, he has divided his time unequally between Yorkshire and the United States. After graduating as a teacher, he worked as a barman and football coach, determined to get all the fun stuff out of the way first. He currently works for a multinational corporation. Inertia, completed in 2005 but not published until 2013, is his first novel. He promises to up the pace from now on.
