Roberto Dillon

Dr. Roberto Dillon holds a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from the University of Genoa (Italy) and a Certificate in Cybersecurity from the Rochester Institute of Technology (USA). He has published several books for CRC Press, AK Peters, and Springer, and is a well-known educator with years of experience in game design and cyber security, which were his passions since he began programming text adventure games on a Commodore 64 in the mid-1980s. An (ISC)2 Member and an IEEE Senior member, he spoke at major international events like the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco and TEDx in Milan, among many others, and he is currently the Academic Head of the School of Science and Technology and an Associate Professor at James Cook University Singapore. Over there, he founded the first Computer Game Museum in Southeast Asia (2013) and teaches subjects such as “Behavioral Cybersecurity” for the dedicated Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity that he designed and launched in 2020 with the collaboration of different industry partners.
