I worked for 38 years as a research scientist in the Defence industry often in collaborative projects with American, British and Australian military establishments, my scientific reports being published in confidential journals. In 2000 I retired to write novels, do movie and advertising work and travel the world. I have written four realpolitik thrillers all of which are published on Lulu. Two themes run through my novels. One is the proposition that science and technology are short-term blessings and long-term-curses. The second is best summed up by a quote from the book 'Working with Monsters' written by Australian psychologist, John Clarke: 'would it be possible for the human race to survive if every person on Earth had the same values and attitudes as corporations?'
