Samantha Claire Snyder is an author and musician from North Carolina. She has been writing stories and traveling the country playing music since childhood. In early 2021, she published her first novel, The Map of Griffyngrein, an action fantasy inspired by her favorite epic tales and mythical creatures, featuring two teenagers from her home state. Accompanying the story are songs that reflect the characters and themes, which she is releasing track by track on YouTube. She graduated from High Point University the same year with a degree in Mathematics and a minor in History, and tours with the bluegrass/country duo Darin and Brooke Aldridge, while teaching violin lessons from home. She has exciting new writing projects in the works, inspired by the many adventures she's had in her unique life, and in which she strives to combine the reality of her background and culture with the colorfulness and wonder that first drew her to read constantly as a child. In her spare time, she works on her small farm. As a lifelong animal lover and disciple of Nature, she works to preserve her family's farming history on the land where they settled down generations ago. She also has a blog where she shares honest and open messages about her life, her challenges, and her animal training adventures.
