Sara Savina

Sara Savina began dancing in New Jersey and grew up training in Atlanta and Chattanooga. Her passion deepened in high school when she performed as Peter in Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe under Trinity Christian Fellowship: The Studio. She later trained with Lori Zamzow-Wire at Sugarloaf Performing Arts, performing in productions like Snow White, Aladdin, and Sleeping Beauty. Sara earned her Bachelor’s degree in Dance with a concentration in Ballet from Kennesaw State University, performing works by Ivan Pulinkala, Sandra Parks, and Lauri Stallings at venues including the American College Dance Festival and The Kennedy Center. Her training also includes programs with Atlanta Ballet, The Georgia Ballet, Alonzo King LINES Ballet, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, and classes in New York with the José Limón Foundation, Cunningham technique, and Paul Taylor Dance Company. Professionally, Sara has danced with SIDEWAYS Contemporary Dance Company, Fuerta Dance Company, Zoetic Dance Ensemble, Paideia Dance Theatre, Dance Canvas, Room to Move Dance, and Full Radius Dance. She has also taught ballet, tap, modern, and jazz. With over a decade of experience, Sara is committed to sharing her knowledge and hopes her books inspire dancers, educators, and anyone who loves the art of movement.
