Haruo Sato is a literary researcher (at present he studies the poetry of D.H.Lawrence) and Professor at Nihon University (Tokyo JAPAN). He also is a singer with special interest in German art songs -- Franz Schubert and Robert Schumann. His first publication was "Notes on Dichterliebe."
