Koyote was born in El Salvador, and came to California in 1985 with political asylum. He writes, speaks, and teaches on magick, shamanism, and philosophy. He also performs the art of the Telling, which is a spoken and moving improvisational invocation which creates perceptual and cognitive changes in the consciousness of the audience.
