An Ohio native, Sarah "Wolfstar" Wolf moved to Boston in 2002 to earn an MFA in Creative Writing from Emerson College. In 2019, she relocated back to the Cleveland area to earn a Master of Science in Social Administration (MSW equivalent) from the Mandel School at Case Western Reserve while still pursing her love of the written word. She is forever finding ways to combine her Community Practice for Social Change concentration with word smithery. With a publishing history that spans back to 1994, her work includes the novels Neverland, Ohio and A Somerville Love Story (a novel in two parts), the poetry volumes There are Phases to These Things and Poetry Collection #2, the short story collections Black Ohio Skies, Sobriety (And 49 Other Fine Stories) and Say You'll Love Me...And Other One Acts as well as works of nonfiction, The Breakup Year and Home Field Advantage.
