Simon Lucas is a full-time indie author. He is currently working on a new series of conspiracy thrillers, the Chicken Shak Spy Novels. The first, The Chicken Shak Spy, was published in 2010. Simon is currently hard at work on the second. Simon is a former teacher. After seven years in the classrooms of some of the UK's top schools, he set down his board pen in order to pursue his lifetime ambition of becoming a novelist. Simon is a keen advocate of digital technology, and is one of the new generation of "indie" writers who write, edit, publish and promote their own work. Simon is primarily an author of ebooks, but uses Lulu to publish paperback formats for those who do not wish to read digitally. Simon is married to Claire, a doctor, and they live in West Sussex in the United Kingdom. When he is not writing, Simon enjoys sailing, walking, geocaching, music, and spending time with friends. He is currently training to be a Methodist Local Preacher.
