Skylar Slotter is a sister, a girlfriend, a daughter, a real Meredith Brooks song. She has written two poetry books, one with her sister (Cool Girls), and one on her own (Spooky Girl). Skylar is passionate about mental health and the accessibility of related resources, so all proceeds from her works go to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). Poetry is one of many things that serves to keep her sane, and it is her hope that readers can find her work relatable and maybe even a little cathartic.
