Stephen Oriewo is a writer, realtor, and former school administrator whose journey through professional and personal upheaval inspired this book. In 2022, after resigning from a demanding leadership role, he faced one of the hardest seasons of his life marked by financial loss, rejection, and relocation. But out of that darkness came deep reflection, healing, and purpose. Stephen now uses his voice to help others navigate the silence, shock, and self-doubt that come when a business fails or a job ends. His storytelling blends raw honesty with insight, drawing from both his own journey and the lived experiences of many others across Kenya and beyond. He is the founder Goshen Foundation in Mombasa, Kenya, and continues to mentor young boys and girls and entrepreneurs navigating change. He lives between the coastal Kenya and his rural home, with his wife Diana Cheruto and their children who remain his greatest motivation.
