Dwaine Spieker grew up on a farm at the eastern edge of the Nebraska Sandhills before attending the University of Nebraska at Kearney and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He currently teaches high-school and college English in Wayne, Nebraska, where he lives with his wife and children. Fourteen years in the making, this is his first book.
