Others began to take an interest in the 'dits', poems and general daftness that I wrote, and it grew until I was adding items to the news and sport signals whilst at sea during HMS Brilliant's 1995-96 Gulf deployment. One of my shipmates suggested that I should develop one piece into a novel, and that became 'Shadow Seeker', a horror novel. I later wrote the light-hearted and often surreal space adventure 'Sark', and a children's short story entitled 'The Sand Witch'. I did nothing with them commercially until I published them all on the 19th February 2013 in PDF format and as e-reader books on Kindle. I am currently writing my fourth book, a fantasy novel that I intend to be the first of a series.
