I was very excited to publish my first book "The Rain King". Before I could make the announcement of it's release I lost my step-father; someone who was/is a very special person. My original intent in publishing this novel was to establish myself as an author. I have a new purpose now. All proceeds from the sell of "The Rain King" will be used to get the headstone for my step-father's grave.
