I grew up in Northern Illinois and have always loved books. The feel and smell of the pages, the way the stories take you to another time and place, or just absorbing the knowledge written on the pages. I have been writing poetry, and song lyrics, for about 25 years and finally decided to publish my writing to share with the world. My hope is that the thoughts, feelings and life experiences that I've written about will resonate with others who can interpret them in their own ways and hopefully feel connected and know that they are not alone.
