Tim Erickson wears many hats. By profession, he started off as a secondary school teacher but eventually swapped to IT, working variously as a 'Middleware' consultant and dabbling with software on mainframe, midrange and Windows computers until his retirement in 2008. He was also an internationally ranked racewalker in his younger days, representing Australia at Commonwealth Games and World Championship level. He has been involved as a Track & Field administrator for most of his adult life and has a number of Life Memberships as well as an OAM in recognition of his work in that area. He is also a keen historian, having published a books in a number of fields. He lives in Melbourne, Australia.
