Born and raised in the small town of Toomsuba, Ms,of a family of 16, Tony Brown realized his passion for writing at age 10 when he use to draw comics and write short stories. He graduated from the University of West Alabama in 2004 in the field of Industrial Maintenance where he also played a couple years of football. He is also the nephew of the highly talented author of "The Wedding" Veda E. Blount.
