Hi, I'm Tonya Nighman—creator, small-business owner, and the woman behind The Artisan Chandler. I believe some of the most useful things we can share are the lessons we learned by actually doing them. My candle-making journey began with curiosity, a handful of supplies, and plenty of trial and error. Over time, I developed a candle-making process that grew from a hobby into a small business, eventually placing my handmade candles in local boutiques. I don't believe other creators are my competition. I see them as fellow artisans—people learning, experimenting, creating, and perhaps pursuing a dream of their own. That's the spirit behind The Artisan Chandler. Rather than presenting myself as the authority on the only way to make candles, I share the materials, techniques, mistakes, testing, and business experiences that helped me find what worked for me. My hope is simple: share what I've learned, encourage someone else to begin, and perhaps make their road a little easier than mine was. Because sometimes all a good idea needs is a place to start.
