I started writing about six years ago, mainly because I was bored with many of the books I was reading. The stories were not engaging enough for my taste. I wanted something I could believe. My philosophy of writing is to take a real story and put myself in the minds of the characters within that story to understand why each one did something, or did not do something. From what my readers tell me that is the aspect of my stories which they like, the fact that my novels are based on truth. I write in a fiction style, rather than in documentary style, relating what happened from the character’s points of view. My readers tell me that I have a very easy to read style of writing. I may not be a great novelist but I believe I am a great storyteller, whether it’s my father’s stories, historical stories or even my own.
