I write simple, yet powerful love stories that will have readers appreciating African-American men for their strength as well as their subtle vulnerability. My books provide hope to anyone who believes they cannot find love because they are so quick to blame others for their problems while never looking in the mirror at the real culprit. Twice Blessed and Hearts in View were written after going through a difficult marital adjustment. I believe there are still a few good men out there and through my stories, I want everyone who is about to give up on love to read my book and change their negative perceptions. I also write inspirational books that provide hope in the world by focusing on Bible verses and real-life experiences. I realize that most of the inspiration posts on my social media page are not only for the readers, but first, for myself to grow in my faith. Finally, as an educator and staunch supporter of first-generation students and families, I write resource guides to assist these students on their path to and through college graduation.
