She has planned and executed corporate events, nonprofit fundraisers, weddings, and large scale community events while also teaching future industry professionals through hands on, experiential learning. As the founder of VK Events Floral Planning, LLC and The Wedding Planner Omaha, Vernetta blends real world execution with practical teaching. She holds a Doctor of Education and the Certified Hospitality Educator designation, and she is passionate about helping students and professionals move confidently from concept to execution.
