Jay Winn
A lifelong railfan who has spent the last 60 years chasing trains and railroads in general. In the course of those 60 odd years he has has numerous adventures related to his railroad hobby. He has shared his memories in numerous railroad themed articles and has authored at this point 2 railroad themed books. The first entitled "Grandfather, Oneonta and Me" chronicles his travels to Oneonta, NY to watch the Delaware & Hudson Railroad. This book covers some 50 years and his history is written parallel with the history of Oneonta as a railroad town from it's heyday to it's ultimate demise as a railroad hub. The second book entitled "Trackside Tales" covers more adventures encountered during his travels to visit other railroad towns and other railroads. He is currently retired from his 40 year career as a Construction Engineer.
