Pete Wills (Born in South London) is a British author. He grew up on a diet of american comic books and pulp sci-fi and spent his fomative years travelling in Asia, Australia and the US before studying environmental science at Greenwich university. A qualified teacher, he has spent the last ten years working as a Physiotherapist. Absolution is his first novel. Drawing from several sources of inspiration including Iain Banks, Philip K Dick, Frank Herbert and Joe Haldeman, the narrative is focussed primarily on character and emotion to draw the reader more easily into the imagined world. It is therefore a combination of classic and contemporary scfi, drawing on the strengths of both. He now lives in newcastle upon tyne with three teenage daughters, a cat and dog and spends his free time wrting stories and looking over the trees of Jesmond Dene
