Lary Crews
Lary Crews became a professional magician in 1978. He performed close-up magic in restaurants in the Tampa Bay area of Florida and appeared a dozen times doing magic on the local PBS TV station. In Los Angeles, from 1999 to 2001, Lary was office manager for famous TV magician Mark Wilson and Nani Darnell (The Magic Land of Allakazam). He was a member of the Magic Castle in Hollywood and lectured at magic clubs. From 2001-2003, at NBC studios in Burbank, Lary performed magic for tourists waiting in line for the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. In Las Vegas, from 2003-2005, Crews worked as a close-up magician at four Las Vegas casinos (New York New York, MGM Grand, Stardust and Caesars Palace.) At The Tropicana, Crews performed table-side magic as the opening act for stage illusionist Rick Thomas. Now back in Florida, Crews does strolling magic and is writing another book called Strolling Magic.
