From a very young age, Jayla Bonney has loved writing, coloring, and using her imagination to create. Even as a baby—just 8 months old—she was drawn to coloring books and loved exploring the pages filled with creativity and fun. Now as a proud big sister, Jayla enjoys teaching her little sister how to trace words and express herself through art. Her love for learning and helping others inspired her to ask her mother if she could design her very own coloring book—and that’s how “Be You” was born! Through this book, Jayla hopes to inspire other kids to be confident, creative, and kind while discovering the joy of learning. She believes that every child has something special to share and hopes her work encourages them to help others learn and grow, too.
