Hello, I'm R. Ridha, a writer from Africa. I spent my youth traveling in North Africa, studying and exploring the strange and complex world around me. I traveled to Southern Europe in one of the death boats to explore this affluent, free, and inaccessible land. Then I toured West Africa on my bicycle, searching for my roots. I isolated myself from the hustle and bustle of life and the grime of civilization in a hut in Mauritania and later on the Atlantic coast of Senegal. There, I discovered my true self and shed the burdens of thousands of years inherited from my father and my community. I've recorded a part of my life in this book, The human and algorithm, which I've translated into several languages, to share the fruits of my experiences with all my fellow human beings.
