This book is a poetry and prose anthology of the best entries from some of teacher, Brett Ramseyer’s students at Hart High School, Hart, Michigan. In an effort to continue remote education for his students during the unprecedented cancellation of the 2020 school year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Brett Ramseyer encouraged his students to write with gratitude, creativity, and with a quest for excellence in order to cope with their mixed feelings about missing three months of their education amidst social distancing, isolation, and the trials of this century’s worst and most precipitous economic downturn. Their lives may forever be demarcated by before the Spring Outbreak and after. All proceeds from the publication and sale of this anthology will benefit United Way of Oceana County.
