A children's book written by Aaliyah Kile, an AISD high school student. Aaliyah chose to write a story about overcoming fears at a level for small children to read. CeeCee is a little cloud who is scared of thunder, until Nimbus, an older cloud, explains what rain and thunder do for the flowers. Mothers, fathers, grandparents, and even siblings will have fun reading this book to the youngest member of their family at bedtime. Miss Kile wrote the children's book in her Principles of Human Services class for a book contest hosted by her teacher, Ms. Bowsher. Miss Kile is one of 6 students who were finalists in the contest, which members across Arlington ISD then judged. Ms. Bowsher assigned her classes with the task of writing a children's book with the following parameters: 1. Pick the age group 2. Choose a minimum of two of the P.I.E.S. (Physical, Intellectual, Emotional, and Social Developments). 3. Write the story, and illustrate with age-appropriate illustrations. Most students used AI to create the illustrations.
