We all know the story about the Battle of Hastings in the year 1066 A.D., but for many years, it has been mostly told through the view of the Normans. Here, the view is much different. This is the story of a man, who's name means Noble Guardian. He is no ordinary man. He is the owner of a magical sword that's been passed down in his family for five hundred years. With this sword, he commands King Harold's bodyguards, known as huscarls.
A firm believer in God and his Church, this man is also a veteran. He has already fought the Vikings and the Welsh. Soon he will fight a more advanced nation, one that uses horses and archers as well as melee infantry. A battle between this nation and the English is inevitable. Regardless of the outcome, what will happen in the fall of 1066 will change the English nation forever.
