It celebrates the biodiversity of a region shaped by the Tennessee River, located in one of the nation's most species-rich states. The series carries relevance across the greater Southeastern U.S. Issue 2: Autumn/Winter continues exploring the herbaceous layer of native landscapes, highlighting the vital role habitat plays in the second half of the year.
