Even Mr. Lucky had to admit it was a beautiful nailing job, and he was holding the marker for a one-way ticket to the gas chamber.
It all began when he picked up a gorgeous girl wearing a big smile and a small bikini. She seemed very friendly indeed and she was--with hoods, gunsels and ex-cons. From then on, Mr. Lucky was their target for tonight and, just for laughs, they hung a murder rap on him, too. Naturally, this caused a certain amount of interest in police circles and Mr. Lucky found himself wanted in a big way.
Gone were the golden days of being the genial host on his luxury yacht, the <B>Fortuna</B>. Gone were the after-hours card games with Andamo.
It looked as if Mr. Lucky had been born under the sign of trouble after all. . . .
