Distance Learning: Enhance Learners' Learning Experiences In Synchronous Online Classes

This course is designed to facilitate the learning process of EFL in synchronous online classes and make it less complicated to learners that face challenges due to their young age, distance environment, L1 and other individual learning difficulties. The curriculum of the course has been designed and developed various times for the purpose of teaching and practising the four skills of communication with students that have additional difficulties through scaffolded adaptation of activities that focus on vocabulary, pronunciation, enunciation and intonation by using different tools of technology which were previously implemented by teachers in class. The aim of these activities is to enhance learners’ receptive and productive skills through focused listening, speaking, reading and writing as well as developing strong verbal and non-verbal communication with others in the target language.
