Alex Eaton is a well known figure in Bradford and Shipley, West Yorkshire. Regular contributions to the Telegraph & Argus newspaper, combined with a long standing interest in politics and CND have made sure that his opinions have been heard or read by many people over a long number of years! A founder of the oldest folk club in the world, The Topic Folk Club, Bradford, Alex has also regaled many an audience with his passionate and melodic singing. His memoirs are aimed at his children and may not appeal to a wider readership but if you knew Alex or grew up in Bradford anytime from the 1920's to the 1950's you might find this book an interesting read.
