Satirical novel, reminiscent of the early novels of Evelyn Waugh, which were written around the same period. The Rev. Basil Strode is invited by his old friend Harry Dalston to go on vacation with him and return to nature. He rashly accepts the invitation, not realizing what going back to nature might entail.
The story of a young minister who takes the sun cure to get over his love of a young women and ends up at a nudist camp.
An amusing novel of a young clergyman who is forced (by Wodehousian circumstances) to be stark naked in the countryside for a few days. This "sun-cure" (early nudist health fad) winds up enlightening his mind as much as his body.
