op.cit./urbes is an account of a present state of affairs. It chronicles what is occurring on a human plane in the metropolises of the planet, showing the workings of the city, and the consequences these hold for the human players both inhabiting and construing it. From violent clashes to frequent parades, food banks to excesses of splendour; this collection, of its own in its verve of concision and fervour, invites the reader to consider, with a dash of the prophetic, what the city is for those who live it, how and why it is become such, and what it is awaits then.
