A young gypsy woman, named Boadicea, and a pirate named O’Dhine, are duped in to taking part in opposite sides of a decades old plot for revenge between a malicious Imperial Governor, and an aging pirate captain.
Caught in the middle of this struggle is a mysterious singing box that holds the oldest and greatest treasure in history. The box secretly contains a large precious stone, which holds the soul of an angelic being, the last of the Fahree.
When plans go awry, and the stone is endangered, Boadicea feels compelled by a higher power to flee with the stone. She is joined by the pirate, O’Dhine, and a strange beast-man, Theredon. Together with a fast talking gypsy leader, Nevergull, and an aging pirate, Angus, they must find a way to escape from the island and carry the soul to safety.
In opposition demonic creatures, the Dahr’ Kin require the soul to be freed, and will stop at nothing to get it.
