Packet Tracer on a Mac

A brief technical guide, showing Mac enthusiasts studying on the Cisco Academy programme how to install the Packet Tracer simulator. Cisco currently do not provide a Mac port for their Packet Tracer simulator. Unlike the alternate of using a virtual machine, this solution has the elegance of reducing the overheads of using memory and processing resource and making it appear that Packet Tracer will run 'native' on your Mac. This quick guide DOES NOT offer a copy of Packet Tracer, you must be a current member of a Cisco Academy to be able to download this free resource.
