Tim is a man with one desire, to stay alive! He will do what it takes to ensure that this happens. Give up a friend, hide in a hole, run like a rabbit, fight like a daemon. Thousands die every day in New York in futile skirmishes and he doesn’t care about any of them. Ultimately he feels he was born in the wrong time and place. But Tim has something, a spark, a glint in the eye, something that all but the most scrutinizing women would miss and all men would certainly ignore. Something that shows that this man is special. He is one of the few people that Ant seeks out. Why? Because his destiny is to perform some penultimate action that may change the way we all live, perhaps just ensure that we all continue to live. The only problem is that Tim is too caught up in his own self preservation to realize his potential. So Ant will Sheppard him through this melancholy and deliver him carefully to the point in time where he needs to be in order to perform the act which he was destined.
