This is a collection of "mythic poetry", composed with 7-stringed and 12-stringed lyres. There are songs for a band that never was, and lyrics for music that does not exist. There are photographs included as well, and along the verses they may give the reader / the watcher an other kind of angle than usually when......... So I have written lyrical poetry since 1995, and some 3/7 has been used as lyrics in a band. Still, I have always thought or hoped the music and sounds could be found within the words themselves, or beyond the lines at least. Chapters from III to V, Pathways & The Flowery March, A Good Friday Spell and The Sleeping Gold were handled by The Nameless T Y M (between the years 2000 and 2007), and many of the lines from Chapter III pieces of paper can be heard on Omnium Gatherum's Steal the Light (2002) and Years in Waste (2004). These lyrical fragments were written in 2000, and first released on Pathways & The Flowery March the same year (as "the story that was not sung"). In a way, this work has three levels: the music and lyrics together in the middle, surrounded by Chapters II and VI, Tryst and White Flower, where our lovers meet in a secret place, free-flowing and close to each other (also in various band rehearsals), and finally the Chapters I and VII, that remain as the song literally changed into poetry (or, inner song of the spirit), only read silently or spoken aloud - the first public readings of Last Nights of September At Hand and Strindberg, Hölderlin & Celan were in 2008 and 2010. Quite early, in the late nineties, I fell for an old-fashioned "high-culture poetry", but still kept the form of a pop song. Whether I have achieved something new or it has all been just fooling around, I will have to leave for the readers to decide.
