About Arthur de Niet

Arthur de Niet is a wine connoisseur and a long-time importer of Argentinean quality wines of the bodega (winery) Alfredo Roca situated in the beautiful San Rafael, Mendoza, Argentina. Located in the Netherlands, he and his business partner Jochen Zoon created the wine trade company San Rafael Wines, which offers these wonderful quality wines in the Netherlands and Scandinavia. He regularly visits his friend and wine maker Alejandro Roca in Argentina to taste the new harvest and new wines. In addition, Arthur regularly organizes wine tastings in the Netherlands in which he takes his audience by the hand on a small journey through the Argentine wine culture while tasting various magnificent wines. In conversations with participants during earlier wine tastings, he soon spotted the need for a simple but clear description of what the key steps are during a wine tasting to grow confidence in wine tasting.
